Meet Amber Yarter

2015

Amber first picked up a camera in a high school photography class, where she fell in love with the art of capturing the perfect image.
2017

Amber graduated from SUNY Adirondack with an Associates in Applied Science, majoring in media arts. Amber then transferred to Purchase College where she majored in Photography, minored in Journalism and developer her skills as the lead student photographer for all 17 purchase sports teams.
2019

Shortly after her first year at Purchase, Amber dove deeper into the arts of videography, graphic design and social media. In 2019, she was awarded with the Gloria Cimaglia Student Assistant of the Year award for her photographic work in the Purchase athletic department. In 2020, she graduated from Purchase College with a Bachelors in Fine Arts.
2021

Amber kickstarted her freelancing career as the lead photographer, videographer and content manager for the NPSL and WPSL New York Shockers.

Soon Amber was photographing, editing and managing numerous social media accounts for some of the most prestigious athletic deparments in the New York tristate area. See Clients
2022

Amber received the WPSL East Photographer of the Year award for her work at the New York Shockers and has continued to develope her freelance business. In 2023 Amber started a part time position as a photo editor at the NBA.
